My newest book isThe Scratch. This is the third book in The Driver trilogy. It was completed during Quarantine, which left me few excuses not to write. If you should read it during hard times, I hope it may afford some escape from Trouble.
Georg Vintner, also known as Driver, arrives back in San Francisco after some time at sea, along with his wife Genevieve and friend Robert. He's barely ashore when he's shot and nearly killed by a total stranger. It's up to Genevieve to track down his would-be killer. The main suspect is a strange Russian known only as The Scratch. And then there's the mysterious master mind called Mr. Smith . . .
The trilogy will be in due time published as one volume. In the meantime, I hope you like the story.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!

This weekend I also attended a political meeting,...
A thought crosses my sometimes weird mind: Many readers out there may not be aware there is a whole world of books outside of Amazon.com. Not that I have anything against Amazon; they treat me well. But competition never hurt anyone.
